Perceived output level: I rate it 8 or 9, the output is very clear, crisp and warm. Very impressed.
Tone: Trebly, balanced, no-hissing, (better than single coils... whoo!)
Sonic evaluation: Ibanez SZ520QM + Crate Amp and ocassionally I use it with my multi-effects pedal. It sounds even better with pedals, so add one in when you're using this pickup.
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: Mainly Rock and Alternative, the only thing bad about this pickup is the second pickup switch position. It doesn't sound as great as using just the NECK or BRIDGE postions of the pickups.

Very nice tone, comes out very clear.
Why did I chose this? It came with the guitar! Haha, and because of the reviews I read on this guitar w/ great pickups.
In my opinion, it's best if you just get the guitar, I'm not sure if they sell these stock pickups seperately from the guitar. Besides, the guitar looks great, so it'll the guitar would make your pickups look even better.
