Artists using this pickup:
You musical style(s): Heavy Metal, some weird stuff
Reason for pickup change: I'm not changin them now; maybe sometime when I have the money I will.
Sound
:
No Opinion
Perceived output level: Pretty Hot, they have twice the volume of the stock pickups on my Peavey Raptor (which isn't saying much) sorry, i cant really compare to much
Tone: Bassy, with pretty good highs,
Sonic evaluation: I am using the Jackson Performer PS-4 through a Digitech Whammy pedal, a Boss Metal-Zone, and a Dunlop crybaby, into a stupid little peavey rage 158. The pickups sound really good distorted, but clean they sound muddy.
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: i play heavy metal. didn't i already answer this? it works well with distortion, but clean it sucks. its good for bridge, and neck i guess
Overall Rating
:
5
Comments: if some idiot stole the pickup and left the guitar, i would definitely buy a different pickup. its good for a stock pickup though. i would give it a 8 distorted, and a 4 clean, so that averages to a 5 i guess. filling out these forms sucks.
