Reason for pickup change: This is my new design Hawaiian Steel Guitar called the "SS HAWAIIAN". I designed the steel guitar with similarities to the Fender Hawaiian Steels. I wanted the Stringmaster style pick-up system with blend control pot; and Jason Lollar is a genious pick-up designer and knows the perfect specs to wrap these pick-ups right. Several have tried to emulate the Stringmaster pick-up system; and have failed in my eyes and ears. Jason Lollar has done it. I am extreamly picky about sound and Jason Lollar has made my dream sound come true with my new "SS HAWAIIAN" Steel guitar. These Stringmaster style pick-ups that Jason made are perfect and deliver the sound and variation in tone through the blending control; that I needed and that is a very tuff thing to do.>THANK YOU JASON. Tone: Full range of tone. You can make these pickups do what every you want.
Sonic evaluation: I use these Stringmaster style pick-ups in my new "SS HAWAIIAN" steel Guitar. I play this steel guitar through Fender Tube amps only.

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: I play Hardcore Country and Western Swing music. I also play Hawaiian Music and the Jason Lollar Stringmaster style pickups are the perfect match for all those styles.

Comments: This StringMaster style pick-up system Jason Lollar makes is the ultimate in imulating the sounds of the Real Steel Guitar. Folks just don't make products like they used to. That is why I built my own Steel Guitar; so I wouldn't have to cut corners with materials for price and production. This is a real steel guitar; not a cheezy toy steel guitar like is being built today; and I needed real parts for it. Nobody came close in matching what I want until I met Jason Lollar. Jason Lollar does not cut corners either and makes the best product one can ask for.> Thank you Jason again for being there for me.
