Comments: If anything were to happen to this p/u, I wouldn't hesitate to replace it. I have been playing approx 19yrs, and also own a '87 strat, and a vantage vp795 of unknown age. This is a very versatile p/u, but if you want a pre-amp killer, look elsewhere. As you have guessed, I am very happy with this little gem. I would heartily recommend Kent Armstrong p/u's to anyone, especially when you consider that for the price of SD or DiMarzio, in Australia, you could buy 5 of these, or 8 for the price of one Gibson '57. Also, anyone reading this from Australia, give 1800instruments.com a look. Their prices are fantastic, and the guys running it are muso's, who actually give a damn about customer service.
