Perceived output level: Nor very hot. They should be like that anyway.
Tone: the tone is great. Focused tight bass, tangy mids and present highs. Not brittle like the the originals. A refreshing change from the usual Fender, Gibson, PRS school of tone.
Sonic evaluation: I used with a little Marshall practice amp and it was great. Not very noisy and having the right kind of tonal spread. They would sound great regardless the guitar you're using. The DAno is a peculiar guitar so expect some of that personality leak through the P/Us.
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: Anything but metal.
