the last feature was the most important for me because of my sloppy guitar technique I am always hitting the volume knob on my strat. This is now not a problem the volume knob is almost 1" lower than regular strat volume knobs. What a blessing!

this set of 3 was installed in my 84 Squire Strat. Maple fretboard. Some routing was required. Not for the squimish. I used a dremel tool with a sanding barrel.
They replaced an american? staggered pole set, that replaced the stock set. Neither of these sets of pickups ever really sounded very good.

Output level is very even string to string, pickup to pickup.
I play through a Donovan custom built amp 25 watt of fire breathing heaven. 60s Oxford 15" speaker.
I would first describe the tone as vintage. These pickups are incredible. Very bell like tone that crunchs up nicely when pushed. The diffence between these pickups and the 1 2 sets I've had, is night and DAY!
I play everything from surf/country/blues. These transformed my strat.
