Artists using this pickup:
You musical style(s): Rock, Blues
Reason for pickup change: I wanted something more powerfull
Sound
:
No Opinion
Perceived output level: It has a beatiful powerful sound. Not a lot distorted (less than I thought). I installed it in such a way that you can split it turning your tone knob (go to Seymour Duncan site to see schematics). Splitted sound is not beatiful and powerful but is nice and it gives a great sound in the middle position swicth (very, very blues). With the switch in the middle position and full humbucker on it has a strange but very nice sound (can't explain with words)
Tone: Very bright but balanced
Sonic evaluation: With Marshall JCM800 in the drive channel with volume to 8 and gain to 5 it gives a great and dynamic sound
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: I installed it four days ago but I think I will use it a lot
Overall Rating
:
10
Comments: If you don't have a lot of money and if you're thinking of buying a Seymour Duncan, look at this first. If you don't like it you won't have spent a fortune!
