Comments: The tone is okay. This is rather surprising considering the beating, bending, grinding, filing and otherwise gorilla fisting I had to do to make it fit. The pickup did not fit the pocket in any dimension. It was too large in depth, height width etc. I tried the pickup in an LP Studio and also an Epiphone ES335 Dot. It didn't fit in those either. I finally cut the tabs off and fastened it with double sided tape. Not a good solution. I hate it when things don't fit. Here is the Armstrong claim "It will fit anyplace a humbucker fits without physically modifying your guitar!." A major reason why I bought the pickup. I can't honestly recommend this pickup.
