Features
:
Passive single coil.
I am not sure why he calls it a P-90 because it is not a P-90.
Instrument
:
This is in 2 Telecasters.
It is in the bridge.
It is paired with a Klein T-1 in one tele and a Klein Alnico 4 in the other tele.
Sound
:9
Tele Bridge Pickup with an output of a P-90/Humbucker.
This bridge pickup incorporates 3/4 inch Alnico 5 flush mounted magnets with warm sounding magnet wire.
The output is about 10k,hot.
The pickup has extreme clarity with plenty of power to push any amp.
The pickup comes with white or black cotton wrapped around the coil and has a slight aging to pickup to give it a vintage appeal.
I'm playin' through Tweed clones and it cuts like a tele bridge pickup should.
Plenty of treble bite but no icepic.
Just what I was looking for on a traditional sounding tele.
I play country,rock,& blues.
It works great for everything.
Overall Rating
:No Opinion
I like it a lot. I would buy another.
I've been playin' since the late '60's.
I play mostly G&L ASAT's.
I love the way it cuts and how it jangles nice with the neck pickup.
It's a keeper.
