Fender Custom Shop Strat - Eric Clapton "Blackie"

their discription sounded pretty frickkin phantastic, so i went for it.

Don't have anything to measure the output levels, but hot damn they're LOUD
But theyre probably the quietest STrat pickups i've ever heard. Lace designed the Copperheads specifically for the Strat, and let me just say that EVERY strat should have these pups in them.

Been playing about 15 years, and owned lotsa gtrs, lotsa Strats. These pups can't be compared to anything else, because there's never been anything like them. The Ozzie website that i found the original Clapton Strat on said something about sounding like a mainlne to the sun. they were'nt wrong. the combination of Copperheqads plus the 25db mid-boost that the Clapton models come with makes this the best Stratoacaster i've ever picked up, and i've picked up alot of Stratocasters!!
If this guitar or the pups went missing, i'd crawl over broken glass to get it back!!!!!!!!
