What pickup are you replacing? stock Alnico II
Other pickups installed on the instrument? No

Reason for changing the pickup? stock pickup sounded muddy and sterile with little sustain.

What's the output level like? Output is 8k, which is just right for classic rock, blues, etc.
What amps and effects are you using it with? Soldano HR50 Plus
Tone - Bassy, middy, muddy, trebly, balanced? Very balanced, warm, and musical.
What style of music do you play? Is this a good match? I play mostly classic rock from Aerosmith to ZZ Top to Page. These are excellent pups.
For which positions is this pickup suitable? All positions sound great.

If it was destroyed or stolen, would you buy it again or get something else? I'd buy them again in a second. I'm thinking of getting more Nico pups for some other projects.

Why did you choose this one? Took a gamble for $20 and came out a winner.
Anything you wish it had? Nope
Are you satisfied with this pickup or still searching for <b>that</b> sound? Yes, this is the LP 59 sound I was after. Totally satisfied
Anything else you'd like to share? Picker's Parts is awesome. They are friendly, helpful, courteous, and know their stuff. I bought a prewired guard from them before this pickup and it was top notch. Excellent company with excellent products.
