Features

I recently had an Atlas guitar built for me and they've included the R-Supersonic X1 pickups. These sound great. No buzz and very full tone.
Instrument
:
I've had these placed in a Star Sapphire model guitar with set neck.

The sound of these pickups is fantastic. Not too trebly and on the low end holds a really nice clear sound. I've primarily played it through my PODXT Live and on every setting these pickups really work. The sustain is fantastic.
I primarily play blues rock and these pickups can carry the distortion but also provide a totally clean jazz-type sound as well.

These are as good as you can find. I'm even thinking about replacing some of my older pickups in my other guitars with these. It would be great if these were better distributed as I think they would compete well with the other leading brands.

I used the Humbucking style
X1 Neck output=300
X2 Bridge output=450
Instrument
:
I installed these on a custom Strat that I own and cherish!!
X1-Neck
X2 - Bridge
Had some stock single coil pick-up Duncans I believe I took those off.
I made the change because I wanted that Clapton sustain and just didn't have it.

These babies have high output before they start to squeel...and you have to try and make them squeel....
I played them through a Kustom Quad 100 and a Kustom 36 Coupe
The tone was awesome and clean....
I play all types of music from Gospel to rock

I would absolutely buy these again, in fact I plan on trying some of the other models on some of my other guitars
I have been playing since I was about 7 years old...and we won't go to the exact number of years, but let's just say..more than 30.
I like the tone, the sustain and the warmth
No to crazy about the same old color, but I hear you can get different colors...I plan on looking into that.

I own a custom made SG style guitar. The pickups I had in it were mid grade and old. I am a luthier and decided that this particular guitar was in need of some new life. I found R-supersonic and decided to give them a try. I am blown away by the change in this old guitar. I have never heard it sing the way it does now. The tone is clean and pure.

I have never heard it sing the way it does now. The tone is clean and pure. I play alternative to hard rock. Even distorted the tones are clean and balanced. I have split the coils and love the purity, power, and warmth these pickups have to offer. This is the mid range in their line of pickups.

These have the sound I have been looking for. I would definitely go for these again. They easily rival any Seymor-Duncan or Dimarzio pickups I have played, and at a lower cost.
