Reason for pickup change: I bought my guitar online, which is something I am very apprehensive about, but it was the only way to get the guitar I had my eye on. The stock pickups were fine for playing straight up rock, but they weren?t sufficient for what I wanted in the jazz and blues styles. I bought a Rocket Guitar Groove for the neck position, and a flamethrower for the bridge.

Perceived output level: A vast improvement from the previous pickups.
Tone: Perfect for my needs
Sonic evaluation: An Ibanez Jet King 2 electric guitar, and a Fender Blues Junior amp.
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: I play jazz and blues. this pickup is perfect for my style.

Comments: Frankly this is the best sounding pickup I have come across, and I have been playing guitar since 16. It is has much better tone and sustain then the stock pickups I had before. Really you cannot get a better pickup for the price.
