Other pickups on guitar: duncan antiquity texas hot stat mid
Artists using this pickup:
You musical style(s): country, blues, rock new country gospel
Reason for pickup change: to have killer country blues tone that sets me apart. I also have a hip-shot b-beder and g-bender on my tele, I have it wired with a fender tele 4-way, wired just as they recomend, but then I use a on/on switch to turn on the stat middle pick-up for the best strat sound youve ever heard! I tried useing a reverse wound mid to help with noise, but it didnt work. so I tried a reg wound and somehow the way i've got it wired when I turn on the mid Its dead quiet! Its the best sounding set-up I,ve ever had. To hear more about my tone or my killer 67 twin reverb set-up email me @tele67@aol.com

Perceived output level: bridge pick-up tone is pure broadcaster tone ,seemed hotter than vintage 54
Tone: tele snap and twang with midrange push, incredable Duncan of course
Sonic evaluation: I use a black-face 67 twin reverb amp, customized by a local amp guru Mike Stevens. I use groove tubes only ,every tube! 7025 pre-amp, right now I,m useing 6L6C blue meanies. bias at 34 milivolts. and oh of course Im using Naylor speakers .
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: country blues rock etc
