Features :
Pickup features: Single Passive
Impedence or other specs: Texas Hot (Neck and Middle) 6.7K, Custom (Bridge) 9.3K

Instrument :
Model of guitar or bass: Fender 60s Relic
Position: all positions
Pickup being replaced: Fender Custom Shop Vintage 60s (Stock)
Other pickups on guitar:
Artists using this pickup: Don't know, except myself
You musical style(s): Blues, Rock
Reason for pickup change: The stock PUs didn't have enough output, and they were a little too clean.

Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: Much more output than stock PUs for Relic 60s. I don't know about other Relic strats, but mine were something like 5.7k, 5.7k, 6.2k ohms (from Neck to Bridge). I also don't know if this is normal for all Custom Bridge PUs, but mine has very high output.
Tone: Well balanced, more mid and smoother than stock PUs. High end sounds very smooth.
Sonic evaluation: I have five strats, and I bought these Antiquity PUs for other strat. Ond day, I thought I should try these on my main strat, which is Fender Custom Shop 60s Relic. I play the strat through Blackface Deluxe Reverb, Pro Reverb and Brownface Bassman. These PUs sound great with Blackfaces, but I liked the stock PUs better for the Bassman. That's probably because stock PUs were more trebly and cleaner.

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: I play mainly blues now. I prefer a little overdriven, but clean sound. Stock PUs were too clean, and I feel these Antiqueties are about right. I like the Custom for bridge and Texas Hot for neck and middle postion. They sound great for me.

Overall Rating : 9
Comments: I would probably buy these again, if they're stolen. I'm satisfied with them, and I don't think I'd look for the replacement at least for a while. I want a little more high end for bridge, but it's better than having a PU, which sounds too trebly.

Features :
Pickup features: passive single coil for strat
Impedence or other specs: 6.91 kohms output

Instrument :
Model of guitar or bass: fender strat plus
Position: bridge
Pickup being replaced: fender lace sensor
Other pickups on guitar: gibson minihumbucker (n), ssl2 (m)
Artists using this pickup: dont know
You musical style(s): blues, blues-rock
Reason for pickup change: lace sensors have absolutely no balls

Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: slightly hotter than stock fender single coils
Tone: balanced eq
Sonic evaluation: I have been using the Antiquity Texas Hot for Strat for about 1 year.
I play through Soldano SLO-100 w/ mesa 412 (soldano x12000 spkrs). The
Antiquity beats everything hands down for tone. It has a deep lustre
all its own. The midrange is sweet, and the low end tight. The highs are
never shrill... When playing th slo-100 w/ O.D.preamp set around 3 you
can get an almost vocal type of articulation... It does have the characteristic
noise.... but that comes with the territory...

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: best suited for blues & blues rock... metal okay in studio

Overall Rating : 10
Comments: I will probably buy a few more soon. That would also include the
humbucker for my Les Paul.

Features :
Pickup features: Single coil
Impedence or other specs:

Instrument :
Model of guitar or bass: Japanese Fender 60's reissue Strat
Position: all positions
Pickup being replaced: stock alnico ones that came with guitar
Other pickups on guitar: none
Artists using this pickup: don't know
You musical style(s): Blues and Rock
Reason for pickup change: Wanted to improve tone over the stock pickups and get more output at the same time

Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: slightly hotter than vintage - on par with the Fender Texas Specials
Tone: Very Full Strat tone, very sweet and beefy but still very Fender-like
Sonic evaluation: I was blown away by the sound of these pickups when I installed them in my guitar. I set out to NYC's famous 48th St. to search all the music stores for a set of strat pickups. I decided on these over Van Zandts and Rio Grandes. I have owned Texas Specials and the Antiquities blow them away. They sound incredible fat and sweet but still retain the "strat sound". The Texas Specials sound very harsh and shrill in comparison. If you need to add some grunt to your amp, these pickups will do the trick. Expensive? Yes, but worth every penny. They are really that good.

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: For Blues and Rock(With a Strat) you can't get any better

Overall Rating : 10
Comments: I would definately buy these again. I will put them in any Strats I buy. They are hard to find and expensive but when you hear the tone that these babies produce, you'll forget about the price. Plus they look like they have been through hell. They even have dirt inside the cover. An incredible reproduction of original Strat pickups.

Features :
Pickup features: single coils, rwrp middle
Impedance or other specs:

Instrument :

Model of guitar or bass: Warmoth strat copy (alder body, rosewood fingerboard)
Position: Atiquity Texas Hot neck and middle, Antiquity Custom
bridge
Pickup being replaced: Fender Texas Specials
Other pickups on guitar: none
Artists using this pickup: Don't know
Your musical style(s): Rock, blues, blues / rock
Reason for pickup change: I origianally wanted to install these in the
guitar at construction time, but had to wait for them to come in, so I had
the Texas Specils installed in the meantime.

Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: Somewhat higher output than stock Fenders, on par
with the Texas Specials.
Tone: Sweet, sweet, sweet. This is what a strat should sound like imho.
'Vintage', 'traditional', etc..
Sonic evaluation: Much, much better than the Fender Texas Specials
I originally had in the guitar. I first tried it out on a Mesa Blue Angel,
I set the Mesa to the 6v6 output, dimed it, set the strat to the neck
pickup and wow, did Stevie Ray poses this guitar or what. The tone was
fat, with plenty of texas stang. I next set the Blue Angel on the EL84
output for some limey chime, set the selector switch for the bridge /
middle combo and Mark Knopfler visisted for some 'Sultans of Swing'. I
then set the Blue Angel for the combined 6v6 / EL84 output, my favorite
position, and tried all pickup combinations, they all sounded great! I
even liked the middle pickup, never did before, and the bridge pickup,
plenty of texas stang without being brittle. All positions were vastly
improved over the Texas Specials. I was a little afraid - from the Guitar
Player review, and from the local guys telling me that pickups I liked that
they thought were too bright - that these would be too dark. Not the case
at all. There is plenty of glass in position two and four, but it's sweet,
never brittle. And the individuall pickups sound great, full, warm, with
plenty of strat spank. Sound great clean or distorted.
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: Theses are
great for blues, blues / rock, country, surf, etc.. Probably not the best
for metal, but I don't play metal anyway.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
Comments:
Most satisfied. So satisfied I put a set of Antiquity humbuckers in my Les
Paul flame top reissue. More on that later... I'm even considering
putting a set in my Tom Anderson classic. (Sorry Roy...).
