Medium output in humbucking, very vintage output when split.
Used with Randall Randall RM100 M1 clean channel,EH FX ,Boss GT8,Radial Hot Brit, Option 5 overdrive.
Very well balanced with a hint of midrange emphasis. No mud at all. Takes well to overdrive and distortion pedals equally. Excellent sustain, note definition. Nicely balanced cleans slighty dark in humbucking. When split the pickup adds some chime. Really works well with the bridge pick up when selector is in middle position. Best neck pick up for a Les Paul I've heard yet.
Metal,blues.......excellent match for lead runs, great for rhythm in split mode. Additional utility when combined with bridge pickup.

For a crafted pick up the value and sound are unbeatable. I'm through looking for pickups for this guitar.

This humbucking p/u is killer. It has diferent winding on each coil it's perfect for HSH. This is a passive p/u. When both coils are in, it sounds like a real fat P90 and when it's splits it sounds like a strat...This is by far the best p/u I've heard for hum to sinle changes.
Instrument
:
The p/u is on my Pavel MI Coqui model. I'm using it on the neack side. The reason I chaged the p/u beacuse I'm looking for the best of both worlds (humbucking and single changes)

The output levels are also great...not too hot and not too weak. I'm using a Fuchs ODS with this set up and It kicks butt. The sound is in between a hot paf and a hot P90...well balance sound.

This is by far a great p/u for those who like the Hum Single Hum set ups. (((Bules baby)))
