Comments: TV Jones makes the best pick ups. The main guy "Tom" has an incredible set of ears, but more importantly he can translate what the customer describes into his pick ups. It is a very difficult thing to describe tone. But,You can call Tom and tell him what you are trying to get and he'll do his best to make something that fits.
I've ordered dozens of pick ups from TV Jones and have always been
pleasantly surprised at their musicality. They just sound good.
the Electro flux has a very unusual shape. It is Wider on the treble side and narrow on the bass side. The idea is to get sweeter trebles
and punchier bass. It succeeds. There is great punch overall, and great clarity with just a hint of grind. It is like my favorite tele bridge pick ups and Les Paul Jr.s rolled into one. The only guitars that I am aware of in which it fits without modification are Koll guitars, but I'm sure a skilled luthier could make an adapter plate
to make it fit in more popular styles. The result would be worth it!
