Perceived output level: Medium output. Not a super duper hot pickup. Very much like a vintage Gibson p-90.
Tone: Very tight dynamic mids and a nice high range without squeel
Sonic evaluation: Using 3 amps combined with a Hendrick switcher. Allen Old Flame 4x10, Fender VibroVerb 1x15 & Soldano Astrverb w/ 2x12 celestion cab. This set up provides some big beefy lows and a mid that cuts thru the mix. Thundering bass from these p-90's but not muddy or too thick to NOT hear note definition. Like Mrs. butterworth's....its thick and rich.
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: 5 way with #4 position neck and middle out of phase is AWESOME.

Comments: I am now replacing a few other guitars with Pete's single coils. These are the real deal and I am jumping NOW before the price goes up which it will once these catch on. And they WILL catch on.
