Instrument :

I replaced the stock gibson pickups on my 2000 Les Paul Standard. They were the typical 490R, 498T crap.

Sound : No Opinion

I told Pete I was looking for a vintage AC/DC type of tone - and that's what I got. Much better mid range definition, smoother yet louder highs and a tighter bass. They're medium output.

I've been using it primarly with a heavily moddified 62 Bassman (it's got EL-34s and a bunch more gain - sounds very 60's Marshallesque). Great for vintage rock crunch! This guitar sat unplayed until I got these pickups in it.

I'd definitely use Pete's pickups again. I'm builing a Tele very soon and I'll most likely be using his PUs again.
