I purchased a matched set of the HCC-Rider blade style , single coil pickups 5.5K ,6,900 turns counter clockwise , magnet south end up at the neck and 6.0K 7,500turns clockwise , north end of the magnet up at the bridge . They are a drop in fit for hummbucker slots.

In my new Ibanez AF-75 the sound was unbelievable . I also replace the volume ,P/U switch , tone and caps.022 I find it best to replace these with higher quality parts . I also replace the tuning keys with gotoh 18:1's .The reason I went with these is that I was looking for a different tone .I have installed seymour Duncans on three other guitars and for me this out does the Jazz/JB combo in my 335 so far as range of tone.

The output is medium ,comparable to anything else on the market . You really get what you ask for and he does custom winds for a nominal fee . Through my Sunn alpha 115 it was clean and quiet .The tone went from blurr to crystal ,very impressive .Through my hot-rodded carvin 16 it went from clean to very gritty on demand again very quiet .I play some jazz ,blues classic rock on this guitar .Other guitars for other tones , but I can see trying out a few more of these on different guitars he does make quite a few styles of pickup.

If destroyed or stolen i would replace them . I've been playing for 30 years . I own way too many from my 00 1917 Martin Parlor to this ,all loved and played . I'm very satisfied for this sound on this guitar and i'm looking forward to purchasing more Vintage Vibe pickups.
