Vintage Vibe Guitars Humbucker-Size "P-90" Style Single Coil Pickups

The HS-90 pickups deliver the classic P-90 tone and are drop-in replacements for standard size humbucking pickups. Adjustable height nickel plated pole pieces, twin bar magnets (your choice of AlNiCo-II, AlNiCo-III, AlNiCo-V or ceramic-8; one set will be installed as shipped and one extra set of magnets will be included) and 3-conductor output leads. The magnet assembly can be removed from the pickup with ease allowing one to change the magnets in just a few minutes. These pickups ship with two complete sets of bar magnets; please read the description on the order page for a full description of the magnet types available. Standard colors include black, cr??me and faux tortoise shell. Metal covers (nickel or gold plated) are also available

Reason for changing the pickup?
Need a punchy vintage tone especially in the low end. Needed more bite.. like the guitars heard in 50's era Honky Tonk Music. Humbuckers are too muddy sounding in the lower tones.

Egnater Rebel 20.. reverb... and slapback echo

midrange.. clear tones. very 50's
