Neck mounted pickup mount. I asked Pete Biltoft if he could make me a pickup for my newly acquired Ibanez AF105nt. I bought his guitar in mind knowing that if I made a couple of changes I'd have a really nice jazzbox. I changed the strings to Thomastiks flatwounds anf the bridge to a rosewood type. Now the third and most important my new pickup.I emailed Pete what I wanted in tone and the specs of the guitar. He was able to re-pot my pickup. Excellent craftsmanship.

Installed in a new Ibanez AF105nt. Trying to get that vinatge ES Gibson tone.
Sound

Output is clear and crisp. Not muddy or dull or too bright. Used on a Polytone and a Ampeg r212.
For this guitar I play jazz and man am I happy.

Been playing for 20 years. I own custom built strats (two with VVG pups)some vintage Gibsons.
I've had othe brand of pickups and they are okay. I 've had none that delivers like Pete's. His have .....like he puts his sole into them,like they are personal or something. My guitar friends if I could advise you as to where to buy a pickup,look no farther that Pete Biltoft' Vintage Vibe Guitars
