These pups were 5% overwound from standard VVG pickups
They are a vintage style pup

I changed them to get a more vintage sound and to get back to classic SSS configuration

The output seems as high as the other single coils that I had.
I am playing through a mid 90s Hot Rod Deluxe
The pots are 250K and I could not be happier. I feel they are very balanced. They seemed to bring my Strat to life in all positions. I was very unhappy with the HB in the bridge. My ear is not nearly as trained as others, but a very nice, snappy, twangy, bridge with the tone all the way up (I wired the tone pot to work with the bridge pup)
The neck pup is smooth as butta
I play classic rock, 90s rock, and blues. They suit these styles just fine.

I would definitely replace these pups if lost or stolen
I have been playing 2 years and also have a Carvin DC 150. I am going to put some VVG humbuckers in it.
At this point I love everthing about this setup. I came very well assembled with very good instructions. Pete Biltoft was very helpful and answered all my emails very quickly.
I compared it with others based alot on Harmony Central reviews. There were no negative comments about VVG. The ratings were always a 10 when other pups seemed to always have some sort of issue.
