Perceived output level: Somewhat hotter than originals
Tone: Very balanced, distinct tone
Sonic evaluation: I'm using this tele through a Marshall 50DFX. Bridge is still plenty bright but with increased attack and sting. Neck PU is noticeably sharper with more presence. Middle is much imporved with a lot of veratility there.
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: Good match for country, Can do jazz and rock with tone roll off.

Comments: I like these pickups. The bridge installation required me to ream out the bridge plate holes because the PU is tapped for larger screws which came along. I usually roll off the highs a bit on the bridge cause it's still plenty bright. I'm still experimenting with PU height. And I'm not sure what the differnece is between the two bridge PU plates you get. I installed the steel one but there's a copper plated one too. All in all, these PUs are a great value.
