Impedence or other specs: High Impedance, Neck and Bridge

Instrument :
Model of guitar or bass: Dimebag Darrell Signature (My god)
Position: all positions
Pickup being replaced: N/A
Other pickups on guitar: N/A
Artists using this pickup: Dimebag from Pantera
You musical style(s): Hard Rock/Death Metal
Reason for pickup change: They are the dimebag spec.

Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: Enough to give grandma's ferret a stroke.
Tone: Bassy the bridge, VERY Bassy on the neck
Sonic evaluation: Right now I'm using a Crate GX30M Overdrive/Chours as my head, coupled to a Peavy Keyboard 15 incher for sound. I've used it on alot of diffrent amps though, such as the Marshall VS100RH.

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: I play death metal, the only reason I don't like the neck pickup, is because its to high output for my amp, and it causes the compressor to compress most of the low end... Thats alot of punch!

Overall Rating : 10
Comments: Well, I got this $1,300 guitar for $200... I'm not complaining. The pickups alone are worth at least $200. The bridge pickup does some serious death metal damage. The neck pickup is great for rhythm, but the only problem is it is so high level output it causes about a 30% boost over the low end, which causes compression on my Peavy amp. The pickups are about 50% more output than a stratocaster or a telecaster, I can say that from experience. Overall, they are great pickups on a tube amp or tube emulation with hardcore overdrive/distortion.

Features :
Pickup features: passive humbacker
Impedence or other specs: dont know

Instrument :
Model of guitar or bass: (Guitar)Nuno Bettencourt signature (model N2)
Position: neck
Pickup being replaced: -
Other pickups on guitar: Bill Lawrence L500 bridge pickup
Artists using this pickup: Maybe Nuno Bettencourt?
You musical style(s): rock jazz,blues
Reason for pickup change: I hate this thing and want to change soon. I want some jazz style clean tone.

Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: output level is fine. the only thing good about this pickup!
Tone: not muddy at all, but not balanced. The treble E string is too thin, lots of bass
Sonic evaluation: Just Laney L30

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: not suitable for blues, not for jazz at all. maybe suitable for acoustic guitar style rithms if used with the bridge pickup

Overall Rating : 4
Comments: I would never buy this pickup.
Does not show the same characteristics on all strings.
E string is thin, G string sounds like a bit middle range.
