Tone: Beautifully balanced with real clarity but yet a sting in the tail.
Sonic evaluation: Original AC 30 Top Boost amp and original Cry Baby Wah. Nothing else is needed !
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: A perfect match for blues and rock. These have been the best after nearly 30 years of looking.

Comments: I have been playing for 30 years and been building for about 25 years and these are the best pick ups I have ever had (no lie) I own 4 other Les Paul`s and this one blows them all away (yes even the "real" ones) Wolfe is friendly informed and really takes the time to understand what YOU want from him. Who else would send you a Video disc of your pick up`s being made ??? Who else would re -wind them if you didnt like them free ? Who else will make them just the way you want them, not the way they think you want them ? These are the best from the best. Oh where do I live ? England and the service was just as fantastic as it no doubt is from Wolfe in the U.S.
