Artists using this pickup:
You musical style(s): Blues, roots rock, R&B, classic rock
Reason for pickup change: G&L's sounded dull and flat.

Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: I wanted these babies to shimmer and ring, so Wolfe wound them slightly less hot.
Tone: Perfectly balanced. The tone just glistens!
Sonic evaluation: I run the Legacy into a TopHat King Royale. Positions 1 and 2 are by far the strongest with these pickups. Position 3 (middle only) is okay, but I never really liked this tone on a strat to begin with. Position 4 is cool. It doesn't quack like the position two, but it does have a very distinctive and very, very pleasing tone. Finally position 5 is great. Gets very mellow and smooth, especially with the tone rolled back a little.

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: I play blues and rock and roll.

Overall Rating : 10
Comments: I would absolutely get these same pickups again. I love them!
