Features :
Pickup features: Single Coil Passive
Impedence or other specs: 12K Ceramic Magnets

Instrument :
Model of guitar or bass: Gibson Les Paul Junior
Position: bridge
Pickup being replaced: Stock P.O.S. Gibson
Other pickups on guitar: None
Artists using this pickup: If they heard this thing they all would
You musical style(s): Metal and Powerhouse Blues and last but not least Leslie West
Reason for pickup change: Stock Gibson pickup sounds and looks like a piece of crap.

Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: Super Hot
Tone: Scooped mid type of sound
Sonic evaluation: Les Paul Junior into Traynor YGL3A Mark III
Les Paul Junior into Peavey VTM 60

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: Mostly play hardrock/metal or blues type material. Works well for all.

Overall Rating : 10
Comments: No need to try and sort through all the big name catalogs that are full of nonsense. Call Wolfe tell him what you want and he will deliver the goods.I would definitely buy another one because all it takes is a phone call to Wolfe and he gets the sound that is going on in your head and makes it a reality. Why would I go anywhere else?

Instrument :
Model of guitar or bass: Gibson Les Paul Junior
Position: bridge
Pickup being replaced: bridge
Other pickups on guitar: none
Artists using this pickup:
You musical style(s): Blues-Metal and of course Leslie West
Reason for pickup change: If you saw or heard the stock "Gibson" pickup you would understand.

Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: Much higher than stock pickup.
Tone: Scooped midrange type of sound when playing high gain amp.
Sonic evaluation: Les Paul Junior into Traynor YGL-3A this is the only pickup that has been able to overdrive this amp.
Les Paul Junior into Peavey VTM-60 absolute sickness. I do not need any pedals of any kind to get the sound I want .

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: Metal-Blues

Overall Rating : 10
Comments: If it were destroyed or stolen I would definitely buy another one.
I just started playing 6 string guitar. I have too much gear to list here.I love that I don't need any pedals for the sound I want. I couldn't compare it to anything else because no one would wind me what I wanted. If you have an idea in your head explain it to Wolfe and he will wind what you want. Dealing with Wolfe is a pleasure. He listens and doesnt make you seem like you're an idiot asking for something impossible. I won't mention any major manufacturers by name here but basically if they dont have it on the shelf you are stuck. Give Wolfe a call he will not let you down.
