Sonic evaluation: 79 Ibanez artist/Peavey Butcher head with Celetion loaded 2x12 cab/Marshall 8040 valvestate/Crate VC3112/Fender Vibroking.
I have been playing guitar for thirty some years and have tried almost every type paf pickup including real Gibson pafs.The Ibanez Artist these pickups are in was special ordered by me in 1979 without pickups among other custom options.I tried many many pickups in this guitar through the years and many sounded good but these wolfetones will be the last pickups installed.They are the best sounding PafS in The world period.They Absolutly drip with tone.The tone is so wet and spitty like Pafs are known for .The best possible.
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: I play blues and rock .No finer pickups can be found for this style of music.I'm using a matched set.

Comments: If lost or stolen I would not buy anything else but these pickups.
I'vebeen playing 33yrs.I own about 20 other guitars and several amps Including a vibroking, vox berkeley super reverb tube amp,crate vc3112 ,Marshall8040 valve state, peavey butcher head with 2x12 celesion loaded cab,crate vc5212.I've tried many Paf style pickups and these pickups rule.
