The amp is a 2009 single channel all tube with Volume, Tone, Mastervolume or they like to call it "Mastervoltage" as it drops the voltage of the amp taking down the watts. Can go as low as 2 watts and still keep your tone. This is a slick system and works better than I expected. Ok having said that lets be real you can't play it with your wife and child in bed its not that low but your neighbours will still love you. Has this bump switch that is foot switchable and changes the Mids. to a sweet overdrive, that is great for solos and just punching through the mix when you need it. Has a tube Tremolo with speed & intensity that is foot switchable and is a thing of beauty it is so smooth the way it swells and falls nothing choppy about it. A passive Effects loop that loves pedals or should I say the amp loves pedals not that I have a lot. At 12 watts this amp has no problem volume wises you cam easily gig with this amp in small to medium clubs it can rearrange the china if your not careful, I nock a beer of the coffee table. I play classic rock, you no the drill Zep, Floyed, Yes, Cream, ZZ, Thin Lizzy, Stones the list goes on. This amp does them all in spades just with a volume, tone and a few choice pedals. It meat my needs. It is not a medal amp plane and simple, but I suppose with the right pedals you could get there.

As for the sound quality 10 it is that good make no mistake the tone is so sweet it gives me shivers. My Les Paul sounds just amazing through it, my G&L asat just chimes and barks it even speaks arch top my Gibson ES175 sings and I have no problem getting jazz tones with the 175. I think what I trying to say is your Les Paul will sound like a Les Paul your single coil will sound as it should your arch top will jazz all night. Its a great all around little amp. No noise at all no hum just your single coil stuff but that's to be expected. The master volume is out of the circuit when dimed the amp will start to break up at about 6 and cleans up nice with guitar volume. With master volume fully engaged she breaks up much earlier at about 3, so the real headroom comes with the master all the way up and out of the circuit.

No problems thus far only had it three months not exspecting any problems. It's built like a tank. My dealer here is great so they will take care of me if the need should arrive.

It comes with a life time warranty.

Been playing 40 years had the gamut of amps to many to list you'd think I was slinging it anyway. If it were stolen I would replace it in a heart beat. I love the tone of this amp most of all I can't say enough about it, it has what your looking for. Just not medal. I looked a long time they got sick of me coming in and plugging in and not buying but this time I would not be rushed I took my time and found the right amp. It came real close between Fargen amps and the 65amps Fargen's Mini or Mighty Plexi is great amp as well.

In addition to the first review, this amp has a "bump" switch which seems to boost mids and add a little dirt. There is also a micro switch labelled smooth +/- which is very subtle in its effect; I am told that when miked up in the studio the switch has a noticeable effect on the reorded sound.
This amp, as said, has a variable voltage "master" volume. There is a slight delay when this is adjusted as the amp sjusts itself. It hasn't caused me problems. Features wise this amp has everytning I need for the clean and vintage overdrive sounds I use.

Sound Quality : 10
Used with single coil Tom Anderson and Fender S and T types so far. Sounds absolutely fantastic from sparkling clean through to old style distortion. Flat out there is still brilliant definition between individual notes in a chord.
This amp is very responsive and picks up everything you play; if you have a sloppy style it will pick up your bum notes and extra harmonics.

I have been playing since 1971. I am lucky enough to own Tom Anderson and high end Fender guitars and at one time or another have owned just about every type of guitar and valve amp. This amp is very close in quality to my original Matchless Lightning, which is the best amp (for me) I've ever heard. I also have Bruno and Rivera stuff and an ancient Champ. I was cautious about buying a new boutique name amp as new brands are appearing en masse at the moment and not all will survive. However the sheer quality of this producr together with the recommendation of someone who has toured with 65amps swung it for me.

This is a 12 watt amp with a master volume that controls the output wattage, it can lower the the power down to 2 watts. That makes this amp very versatile and adds to the value. It is a single channel amp with a volume and tone control. It also has tremolo, bias vary like used in the old Princetons.

The cabinet is built really deep, and is very well built. All baffles are held in place with machine screws into threaded inserts in the cabinet.

The speaker is a UK made Celestion G12H 70th Anniversary model.

Sound Quality : 10
I use an Esquire. I play a mix of styles. I bought this amp for the punchy clean tones and the versatility of the master volume. The cleans are punchy with just enough bottom and plenty of chime. The amp sits in the mix well and cuts through when needed. The amp is very responsive to the players technique and pick attack. When overdiven the amp is very articulate. It is not a stiff amp at all and is a lot of fun to play.

The amp is new, but it extremely well built. I'd be comfortable with just spare tubes and fuses with this amp.

Customer Support : 10
I've met Peter before and he was a nice guy that was easy to talk to. From what I've seen, there will be no issues should the amp ever need service.

I've been playing for a long time and have owned a lot of gear, the quality of this amp is as good as any out there. The sound is a notch above any of the EL84 amps on the market.
