Features, yea it has features. It has a reverb, a auto tone setting, and with this amp there is no need for a straight box. You can run straight into a sound system. I use this amp as a monitor. It really doesnt put out power like a typical 50 watt amp. However, it is an "acoustic" amp with a great sound for the investment.

This amp works best with a good ole solid wood guitar. It doesnt do as well with my Ovation. Therefore, I use it almost exclusively with my Washburn Music Barn Edition with transducer. With this setup it sounds very good.

I really dont know how reliable this amp is. It works good for me every time. It has never given a minute of trouble.

I have been playing for a long time. However, I have played in a band for 3 1/2 years. I own 4 full time guitars and 3 part timers. I really think this amp has a fantastic acoustic sound for the cash outlay. I only wish it had a little more volume capability, although I have never needed it.

Small combo acoustic amp, available for much less cash than most amps with similar features. 50-Watts, Two 8" specially designed coaxial speakers with 2 1/2" tweeters, Active and Passive 1/4" inputs, Reverb, EQ, XLR out, Notch filter. Not an over-abundance of features (at least compared to many other acoustic amps out there), but everything it does have sounds great. Especially the different inputs for different types of pickups- it's a great idea that helps tailor the sound easily... I play in a rock band, and this little amp has a little trouble keeping up sometimes. Often I end up using it as a nice-sounding preamp before running into the PA. The overall sound is excellent until you really turn up the amp loud; eventually the sound begins to break up a bit. A minor problem is that the XLR out sometimes generates a rather noisy buzz that I haven't been able to get rid of...

I run a Fender Acoustic-Electric with a Fishman Matrix active pickup system through the A.R. Acoustic amp. I play bouncy-acoustic-pop-rock songs in a band, and the amp has been great everywhere from coffee shops to rowdy bars or larger venues. Using this amp, I've been able to separate my sound from rest of the band, which is great considering that my acoustic guitar is often absorbed by the vocal and lead guitar frequencies...

I've only had the amp for a few months now, I bought it used at a local guitar shop. I've had no problems at all, and I've been gigging with the thing steadily since the day I bought it. It's been great so far.

N/A- I bought it used... Though, I've been trying to get on the web page for this brand to see if I can find out any useful info regarding the amp, and as best I can tell, the page is totally inaccessible.

I've been playing around eight years, almost exclusively acoustic guitars, and several of those eight years have been in bands. I own a Fender M-80 Chorus amp that I used to use for amplifying my acoustic (it had an amazing clean tone), until that amp had some serious intermittant glitching problems. I had to get a new amp, fast and cheap. I had been discouraged by the ridiculously high prices of acoustic amps. After finding a 50-watt amp for a great price in this A.R. Acoustic, I jumped on the opportunity. I haven't been disappointed. My only wish is that I could get more volume out of it; I guess it's a little on the unfair side to ask that 2 eight inch speakers and a fifty watt amp keep up with a drum kit and a bass amp four times as big, but I can always dream. Overall, it's been better than I hoped, more reliable and versitile than I expected.
