Don't know about the year, 2x12" vertical stack, top speaker pointed 30 degrees upward toward the player. Mine is loaded with Hellatone 60's (modded celestion Vintage 30's). I play through a Crate V-series 3112 class-A amp. Looks like the cab has gone through a few mods - not pretty, but functional.

Good quality, no rattling - just make sure that back of the cabinet is screwed on tight. Mine has had the tolex/carpet removed and was painted - I may sand it down and re-paint it to clean it up a little. Also, might consider cutting off half the back to make it a partially-open cab.

Reliability : 9
No problems, very sturdy.

Great cab for smaller shows, and with two 60-watt Celestions, its more than enough power.

I bought this cabinet about 6 months ago and have been using a Line 6 50 watt head and have used it with a Mesa/Boogie Maverick 112 and am presently using it to supplement my Mesa Nomad 212 rig. I get a very nice tone not brash or piercing as the Mesa Black Shadow or the Celestion Vintage 30's in the Nomad. The cabinet I have is difficult to work on the wiring since the back appears to be glued & screwed so I need to remove the speakers or the side handles to check wiring and connections kind of a pain. The cabinet is very roadie friendly easy to move around and the slant design allows me to hear what I'm playing on stage w/o putting it up on something. I've been considering picking up another for big cubs but their a bit ugly ADA would've been better using black. Very strong but light cabinet for a good price.

These cabinets were discountinued in the early 1990's. The cabinet's exterior is covered with dark grey carpet. The protective corners are made of plastic. The front grill is metal. It is loaded with two 12" Celestion G12s-50 50 watt speakers=(100 watts).

I play a 1999 Fender American Telecaster with a VHT Valvulator GP3 and a Mesa Boogie 2: 100 power amp. Been playing for over 15 years.

It doesn't have as much low end as I'm used to with my 4x12 cabinet. You can compensate this by cranking up your pre-amp's bass control. I still recommend this cab although ADA is no longer in business.

I got this cabinet because I was sick of lugging my 4x12 cabinet around. The clubs always mic my cab anyway. The sound is great even though it doesn't have the low end of a 4x12 like I'm used to.

I'm not sure what year these cabs are. The split stack design is very nice and gives you many directional options or allows you to just take a half for a smaller gig or practice.

I usually play an American Telecaster or various stock Fender's. These cabs will suit any music style...Good for rock, funk etc. I use a JCM 900 50w head with these cabs and it sounds great!

Reliability : 10
Been using these cabs for over 10 years and have never had a single problem. They have been thrown around quite a bit and are very strong.

Never had to deal w/ them. I'm not sure ADA even exists anymore.

Playing for about 15 years...These are great cabs but if stolen I would probably try something new like a Marshall 1960A slant just for a change. I love the versatility these cabs have...I can lay one sideways for a nice 2x12 amp or set them both up for a full 4x12 half stack. The only thing I hate is taking the extra trip to carry both. I also like how almost nobody has these so it makes for a nice original set up.

these are awesome with both amps I use but i've heard guys with similiar amps ('59 bassman head) you could not roll off enough bottom even with the bass on 0 and a strat in the bridge position the sound was still awful. That said it is all a combination of head vs amp vs guitar etc. be careful before buying .
