OK, it's based on the AER Compact 60 mark 2, but with an aux input with volume control and a BATTERY!
Very small, but a lot heavier than it looks, but this isn't a bad thing......it's tough. And it asks to be taken seriously.
Charges in 6/7 hours, but then it can play on the lead-acid battery for up to 7 hours, depending on how you use it....for the longest times I used it as my personal stereo and played stuff through the aux in......It's a portable hi-fi speaker........
Years ago a friend needed to borrow my old Compact 60 a few years ago and left her Compact Mobile with me.....I vowed that if I ever had the money I would buy one. I had to sell the Compact 60...
Luckily the time came......
There is no competition. Check it out for yourself on the internet....anything near a top quality battery amp....????...nope..
There's Crate....Roland....and maybe a few other battery contenders, but when you listen....THERE IS NO COMPETITION.....
The competition for this amp is Schertler...Acoustic Image...AAD...
We've been trying 12v batteries and inverters with different amps to be able to play on the streets lately, but they just don't work on higher powered amps.
.......This amp is 60w.....and you can plug a 12v power supply into it....or run it off a cigarette lighter socket in a car...charge it with a solar panel.....a bicycle......
But it don't come cheap.

Sound Quality : 10
I don't expect this amp to be any different from the Compact 60, and I have had many, many great experiences with that amp. I played acoustic guitar in a gigging band with one for a couple of years. The fiddle player said it was the best amp he'd ever played through, better than his own equipment.
I more recently managed to get one second-hand which our guitarist uses now (??140!!!)
We recently did a busking tour in the South-west of England (Somerset and Devon) and used it for beautiful 4-part vocal harmonies on a condenser mike....in the corner of pub in Ilfracombe. On Carnival Day....Sweet.
So it's the basically the same, but with batteries.
It's an acoustic instrument amp......anything from bagpipes to binous to bouzoukis to whistles to guitars to harmonicas to vocals to anything you can throw at it...
By all accounts a stompbox plugged into the effects loop uses just the power amp (bypassing the pre-amps)....so the sound is whatever you want it to be...'59 Fender Bassman anyone?

Reliability : 10
For a lot of smaller gigs two of these and a mixing desk could make the PA.
But great for backline or monitoring as well.
It's solid state, and that is not a bad thing...in this case...
It has a very germanic staunch quality. It won't be falling apart for a very, very long time...the old friend had raggedy masses of cardboard wrapped round with gaffa tape on the bottom of her Compact Mobile....she'd dragged it round the streets for years. She got the battery changed then she was away again.

Customer Support : 8
AER seem easy to talk to over t'internet, but I haven't had anything go wrong yet.

Overall Rating : 10
Blah, blah, blah....
I really bought it to play harmonica through....hope it works out OK....
