Achillies Amplification equipment is custom hand built to the players' specs. My Priam 2x12 was fitted with a pair of Celestion Classic Lead 80W which handles the full power of my 100W Dual Rectifier with great ease and amazing clarity.
It was really exciting when planning the specs for my cab because I got to choose everything from the vinyl/tolex covering, to the colour of the piping and grill covering. The removable castors are great too!

The cab's tone is translated from it's construction. I was a bit worried about running my Dual Rec through a 2x12 cab, but the Priam handles it without any hassle. I've just finished recording an EP with it and it sounds amazing. One of the best guitar tones I've heard!
The cleans really shine, and the overdrive channels sound huge. We're all familiar with the Mesa tone and paired with an Achillies cab it really becomes something special. Can't wait for the Achillies Typhon head to come out!

I've been gigging and rehearsing with my 2x12 for 2 years now and it has never let me down. Our drummer has a massively loud kit so I run the head pretty hard. Thankfully I dont lose any clarity through the speakers even at such high volumes.

If there was ever any repair needed to be done, I would take it to Labros at Achillies Amplification to get fixed. Seeing as he hand built the cab, I wouldn't trust anyone else with my cab!
I had some issues with one of my guitars, he was kind enough to help isolate the problem and fix it for me! He really knows his stuff :D

I've been playing guitar since '95 and since buying my Dual Rectifier have played through many speaker cabs. As far as tone goes, nothing comes close. Live, I've used my head through a Randall, Mesa Recto Quad, Marshall 1960A and a Mode 4 cab, and nothing comes close to sounding so good. From clean, to crunch to saturated overdrive, the tone is amazing!
I've tried my head through some other Achillies 4x12 cabs and can't wait to get my own (currently being built - will review soon :D). I know that if anything goes wrong with it, it will be fixed without any fuss.
