Made in 1981. The amp had enough power to overdrive a medium sized room. Came with a footswitch for channels and reverb. The amp was 125 watts, solid state and had a clean sound. It was brown tolex with sienna accents on the front panel.

The sound was incredible. It could do anything using the graphic equalizer. The manual gave approximate setting for various performers sounds...some of them were correct!!!

This amp never let me down. I finally blew a speaker on it in 1993 and had to replace it with an EV.

Never had any dealings with the factory. It was incredibly durable and trustworthy.

This amp was still working great when I gave it to my son with the matching Gibson V2 guitar in 1993.

This unit came about in 1974. Might i say very very versatile it is a fantasticly loud piece of equipment just like its brother the 124. The overdrive channell has plenty of volume and it keeps together well(no speaker breakup)Feed back tones are nice for a solid state amp. Plenty of eq. Ie:bass mid treb and 5 band grafic which allows for plenty of different feels from warm rhythems to gutsy solo's. The only problem i had with this amp is over drive just didn't have the tone i was looking for but i still use this amp to power my 4x12 cab and i have a jmp1 pre amp/ processor providing the sounds but the 123 has enough eq to tidy up pretty much what ever guitar i plug in to it. Very versatile and very very loud.

clean is real clean. has a real nice kind of metaly tone like that of curt cobains acoustic at live in new york. overdrive need a little less bass and mid tones to get good sounds but i plug my 123 into a 4x12 which i recomend to anyone who owns one of these. grouse feedback tones though for a solid amp.

This thing is the oll faithfull of my amp collection in 30 odd years i have only blown 1 fuse and had the power lead replaced because of some fraying. ohh yeah and it has been droped a few times but she still runs as hard as the day i first got her.
