This is a 4X12 speaker cabinet that you could park a bus on. I picked it up with a model 230 head, and I am the second owner. Lots of volume and clarity, and it comfortably handles my bass as well without signs of distress.

I played it straight up with my Strat, Les Paul Jr. and a Chinese (OLP) Bass. All guitars sounded very good clean. Distortion was possible at earsplitting volume levels, so the drivers seem to be very efficient.

I have not had it very long, but if it all still works fine after 25 years, what more do you want. I have had new stuff crap out after a few hours. This thing is built like a tank and weighs close to 100 lbs. Buy one if you hate your roadie!

The company is out of business, but Acoustic equipment has a bit of a cult following. I bought the rig because I could not pass it up for the price. I got the head (125W) and the cab for $100 from the original owner. There is a good "unofficial" website at www.acoustic360.com

With a 125W head for $100, you can't beat it. It is a tank and is still ticking after 25 years. If you want an amp with effects built in, this is not for you. If you want a loud, well built rig, this thing is great!

This is a late 80's speaker cab. non sterio of course but built like a tank. The listed shipping weight is 100lbs. The castors on the side is a nice feature for those of us who like the sound of a cab sitting solidly on the floor. The handles are more what youd expect to find on a head or fender twin than on a quad cab this heavy.

The cab has a very clean sound with strong crisp bass. I have used it with A Peavy XXX head and it sounds great. Not a lot of coloration by the cab itself. Reciently we tryed it out with the keyboard players crown amp and it sounded very good however it would be a lot better with a horn to bring out the highs.

I got this cab early this year and even though it was made in the mid 80's it still had the original drivers in it.

I've played guitar for years but reciently switched over to bass. I just can't seem to let any good equipment deals get away. I have thaughts of changing out the drivers and using this cab to replace the 215 bass cab I'm using now. It's certianly built well enough for it. I have a marshal slant quad that I use for guitar and theres no way it would ever stand up to that. You don't see these cab's offered for sale very often but if you do give them some serious concideration they are VERY well made.

This really isn't an amp, it's a 4x12 speaker cabinet I picked up used...I have absolutely no clue when it was made but I do know that the company no longer exists. I can verify to the person who asked in another Acoustic amp review that the label on the back of the cab does in fact say the following, "Warning, volume levels may exceed 110 dB within 10 feet" For me this pretty much sums up what I want out of a speaker cabinet, LOUDNESS. Unfortunately it is also VERY heavy. Much heavier than most other cabinets ive carried around.

I'm using a Epiphone G400 (SG knockoff) and a Marshall G100CD head on this speaker cabinet and I must say that given the crappy quality of my gear, this speaker cab actually makes my equipment sound good...quite an accomplishment for a korean made guitar and a low end solid state Marshall amp. The bass in particular is very punchy and comes through nicely. I have hooked up my equipment to real Marshall 4x12 cabinets before and I think the sound comes out with much more clarity through this cab.

This cabinet is kind of a mystery to me. I bought it from a local Music-Go-Round out of a need for a fairly inexpensive 4x12 cabinet. Fortunately for me it has turned out to be a great addition to my setup, Now if I could only get a better guitar and amp... If anyone has any information about the types of speakers used in this cabinet or the company itself please let me know.
