This was a gift from my parents when I was 13 back in the day. It worked for a few years, then the amp broke. I still use the cab and speaker with a 40's or 50's tube amp and am looking to find a chassis that will fit the cab.

I remember that there was a dirt channel on this and reverb. My first guitar was a piece of junk, then I bought a Gibson Sonex 180 Deluxe off a school mate. I remember it sounding pretty good and still have some old tape recordings in a small office room before it broke. I would hook the speakers up to a home made 4x12 cab. No funds back in the day... I believe this helped to smoke the transformer or whatever the tech guy couldn't fix.

Nice heavy cab and speaker are still going strong... Treat it well and it should last. Just not a great match for a beginning player who wants a Marshall. These are the kind of amps people put in their closets for 30 years, pull out and say, damn, you know it really sounds pretty good.
They look pretty cool too.

It is hard to remember, but I think I enjoyed this amp. I remember the reverb sounding good.

Never a problem..incredible build quality, plywood cab, heavy tranny iron, massive CTS speaker, Accutroincs 'verb, metal pots..they don't build them like this anymore, short of $$$ boutique goodies.
