This is the bigger brother to the G60 112 and has 2 12??? speakers instead and an independent EQ for each channel, which everybody seems to want for the 112 version.
All solid state
2 independent channels, vol 1 (clean) and vol 2 (dirty)
60 watts (they???re definitely all there)
2 12???speakers with massive magnets
Full size Spring Reverb
Master volume
Unlike most other Acoustic Amps this one has Brown Tolex covering that looks like something straight out of the 60s. Adds mojo for sure!
Volume, treble, mids, and bass knobs on the clean channel
Drive, volume, bass, mids and treble knobs on dirty channel
On the rear panel are ext. speaker out, vol (for channel switching footswitch), preamp out, and reverb jacks (not 100% sure what the reverb jack is but it seems to turn the reverb on and off)

For a solid state amp, it???s surprisingly warm. Good with a strat. To me a tube amp is absolutely better though. It doesn???t have the rich sparkling tone like a tube amp; but it is very clean, very clear.
The dirty channel produces more of an Overdrive ??? like a Boss OD2 pedal but smoother. It can go from gravely grunge to over-fuzzed late-fusion fuzz ??? it definitely has some sweetspots.
The amp on its own is absolutely no good for metal. It???s great for rock and grunge, but for Dimebag no way. A Boss DS1 in front of the amp through the clean channel works.
For 60 watts, it???s very LOUD and in my band which is like a cross between Nirvana and Velvet Revolver with 2 guitars, bass and drums it cuts like an emo with 2 razors in a mosh pit!
The reverb works well too. Typical of amps of the 80???s it can be turned right up to being overbearing like playing inside a concrete box.

Tough. Very tough. It???s over 20 years old and still going strong. Build like a tank. I???ve lent this amp out to the point of abandonment and I know it will come back exactly how I last saw it. No exaggeration.

The company went under years ago so you???re on your own. Some of the people from it went to start other companies still around today like SWR! I???m not sure if this amp is rare but there???s stuff all to be found on the net on it. And I???ve never seen another one. It???s so well-built though and on the inside is so straight forward that if it was to blow (ha ha ha I don???t think so) I think a tech could fix it easy.

I???m a tube/valve-nut so I will always prefer tube amps. But I???ll never sell this amp. It???s got a magic to it in the looks and sound departments. Unique.
