BASIC FEATURES. REVERB, CHANNEL SWITCHING, ETC. COOL BROWN TOLEX.
VERY SIMPLE, VERY EFFECTIVE. NOTHING FANCY TO ADD HISS...
EVEN HAS A SPEAKER OUT!
COULD USE SEPARATE EQ THOUGH, SO IT GETS A 9.

THIS AMP IS AWESOME. IT IS VERY SMALL, BUT VERY VERY LOUD. VERY WARM TONES. OVERDRIVE IS NOT METAL GAINIAC SOUND, BUT MELLOW. I USE THE CLEAN CHANNEL WITH PEDALS FOR DISTORTION, THEN KICK IN THE OVERDRIVE AS MORE OF A BOOST FOR SOLOS.
THE REVERB IS SPACEY SURF STYLE, DRIPPING WET.
FOR WHAT I DO, THIS THING IS TOPS.

SMALL, STURDY, RUGGED. I IMAGINE THIS WILL OUTLIVE THE COCKROACHES. I HAVE GIGGED WITH IT AND IT HAS NEVER LET ME DOWN.

I HAVE BEEN PLAYING FOR A LONG TIME. I HAVE OWNED ALL SORTS OF GEAR RANGING FROM CRAP TO PRO. I DON'T CARE MUCH ABOUT BRAND NAMES, I JUST LIKE WHAT SOUNDS GOOD...
THIS AMP IS AWESOME BECAUSE NOT ONLY DOES IT SOUND GREAT, BUT IT IS VERY SMALL WHILE AT THE SAME TIME very LOUD. AND AS AN ADDED BONUS, IT HAS A SPEAKER OUT. I USE IT WITH A 2X12 CAB AND THE SOUND IS HUGE.
IT IS SO COOL BECAUSE AFTER PRACTICE, I UNPLUG THE EXTENSION SPEAKER AND TAKE MY AMP HOME WITH ME. IT IS SO SMALL THAT I CAN EASILY FIT IT IN THE PASSENGER SEAT with BOTH OF MY GUITARS AND MY PEDAL BOARD!!! NO MORE FOOLING AROUND WITH A CRAPPY PRACTICE AMP. I WRITE SONGS AT HOME ON MY ACTUALL AMP, SO THAT WHEN I GET TO PRACTICE, THE SOUND IS THE SAME.
THAT'S GREAT.

70's model. it has channel switching, but it is hard to use this feature successfully due to the sharing of the eq between the channels. it is difficult to get a good balance between the two. that being said, it is easy to get a good sound from either channel by itself. it is very loud (and HEAVY) for its size, and with an extension cabinet, you have more guts than you'll likely need. solid state. reverb. separate eq on each channel would have gotten it a 10, but...

now this amp does sound good. very warm overdrive - definitely not death metal, but warm. the clean can get a nice beefy tone as well. the reverb can get a little over the top, but sounds pretty ethereal for on board spring type unit. i am not sure what the speaker is, but i bought a replacement that has twice the power handling capability (to get the most volume and headroom from the amp). i haven't installed it yet.
the overdrive is a little thich for most of the work i do, so i prefer throwing my vintage aria metal pedal at the clean channel. these are amazing pedals, but good luck finding one... i do use the overdrive for single note lead work. it is just not practical for me due to the shared eq. to beef up the clean tones you need a higher bass setting, but then when you switch channels, it is too bass heavy... use a pedal if you need to switch a lot. otherwise the amp rocks.

i have been playing most of my life. i have owned tons of gear (literally). i bought this because i am lazy and tired of hauling a half stack around... i heard these were small and loud with a killer tone, so i snapped it up. the only thing they messed up with was not having individual eq on each channel. that would have made this my favorite amp. but really, for its time period, i guess the fact that you could switch channels was sweet in and of itself.. still, i think it is a great amp.

I bought this amp last weekend used from guitar boy in Albuquerque. I already have the 4x10 124 100 watt model so I knew this is a reliable product. No one fires up these amps because the silly name implies to people that it is for an acoustic guitar.
This has a brown ugly covering and some type of carpeted screen cloth. It has two channels (clean and drive),Reverb, Master, Mid, Treble and Bass. In the back there is an external speaker and preamp out. there is also a plug for the footswitch which I do not have.
It's a 1982 model. This amp is solid state. This amp looks small but it is very heavy. I think the weight adds tone.

If you know anything about this amp company you know that these were some of the best solid state amps made in the 70's. I use this amp as an all purpose amp (practice, rehersal). I have not used it for a gig yet since i have only had it for 1 week.
The clean is super clean and the drive channel has a great tube like overdriven distortion. Not a headbanger amp but great for classic rock, blues and country.
At full gain it reminds me of Sabbath or Deep Purple. With partial gain it is all WOMAN TONE.
This amp is 50 watts and very loud.
When I played this amp in the store it blew people away "Is that a tube amp" one gentleman asked.
I think because of the name (ACOUSTIC) No one has fired this amp at all in that little used merchandise store. If they had they would have bought it.

25 years and no problems. It could have been through years of abuse and we would never know because you can throw these amps out of a moving truck and it will still fire up. The amp deserves an eleven in this category.

I have been playing for 28 years and as previously mentioned I have another ACC amp 124 model 100 watts. I also have a gibson falcon GA 19 RTV amp. I bought this amp because my 124 is too heavy to haul around for rehersal and I wanted to use the falcon for in home purposes only. This amp has really impressed me and is a great all purpose amp. This amp is great.
I use it with a 1991 USA Strat and a 2004 Heritage H 535. Both guitars sound great through this amp.
I play in 2 different settings. A variety band(Latino, Blues, Country, Rock and Roll and Oldies) and a church worship band(Spanish mass).
I have been looking for an amp in this pricerange for some time now. For $99 I could buy a fender frontman, Orange crush 15, Vox pathfinder or a Roland microcube. None of these amps can touch the G 60 112 AT ALL. Tone or wattage.
Chuck Berry and Albert King used this brand. Whenever I find one at a good price I will Buy. I suggest you do the same. Unless you want to spend $1000 on an amp or end up with a sucky little amp with no tone or power.
