I heard that these cabs are killer so i called HL Wilson at Addrock and told him what I wanted HL is a very nice and knows his stuff about tone. So I ordered the Addrock 2X12 theile port cab unloaded the reason I ordered the cab unloaded was not the price , it's that I have a signature tone and had a good idea what I wanted for speakers.

The Addrock cabs are tuned for Celestion V30's even though these cabs rock with V30's I'm a more of a cleaner player so the tones I was after is Robben Ford,Clapton,Carlton,Black crows,Jeff Beck,Hendrix Overdive tones and Landau(Tales of the bulge),Holdsworth(Metal fatige & Road Games),Robben ford Clean tones.
I asked my good friend Ted Weber at Weber speakers what he recomended and all about the Addrock 2X12 theile port cab, and so I went with (1) Weber 8 ohm 60 watt Thame and (1) Weber 8 ohm 60 watt Chicago this combo in the Addrock 2X12 cab is killer! Nice tight bottom end that doesn't get boomy and nice clear highs. The Addrock Cab comes with Metal back plate for the 1/4" jacks and marshall type 1/4" jacks or upgrade to switchcraft 1/4" jacks I like the switchcraft Jacks so this is what I had HL put in my cab, The cab is very well made and the Black leather looking covering(Think mesa boogie tolex) is flawless. These cabs have no metal or plastic corner which I like and give a nicer look. Mine is Black with cane looking grill very cool look and has no side handles just one top handle. The Cab might be available with side handles but it didn't matter to me all I care about is good tone from a cab. The cab can be wired in mono, or stereo I wired mine with 14 gauge speaker wire and have both jacks in mono at 16 ohms I just like mono cabs better never could get a good stereo tone when I split the one cab in stereo. Sence it's a 2X12 cab or any cab for that matter doesn't have a lot of features so rating a cab at 10 makes no sence but I give it a high score for workmanship and being able to pic speakers that HL Wilson recomeneds and also the stereo jacks.

What i like about the Addrock 2x12 cab the most is that is sounds Huge! like my 4X12 at half the size and weight!

Reliability : 10
The Addrock cab is built very high quality and don't have to worry about the tolex pealing or coming unglued like Marshall cabs. The only way I see this cab braking if some on runs over it with a truck or beats the hell out of it with a sledge hammer. This might be the only cab you might need HL wilson has Addrock cabs in 2X12,4X12 and now is working on a 1X12. I have had many different cabs and I'm reall picky about cabs and there tone and to me these are better than a bogner,Marshall,Boogie,Rivera,CAE just to name a few.

Customer Support : 10
HL Wilson at Addrock is very helpful and knows he's stuff and wants the player to get what he/her wants the first time around.

HL can be reached at will get back to you the same or next day.

I have been playing sence I was 12yrs old I'm now 40 and have played and teched for very well known names. If this cab were stolen I would buy another they're very cool cabs. I love the huge tone it's like my 4X12 the only thing is that it doesn't have casters but it does have shock mounted rubber feet and tone is better than wheels. I went with the Addrock do to that I had a lot of players tell me they sound as good or better than CAE cabs which was the cab I was going to get but the CAE cabs are some what hard to get and the Addrock cabs are avaiable and no long wait!
