This amp is two-toned creme and black cheap tolex. It has the original brown label Jensen CR12 speaker. It appears to have the original RCA tubes which are three 12AX7, two 6973, and one 5YGT. I think it probably puts out about 15 to 20 watts. I have been told it was built by Supro. It has two channels and within each channel is a high and low input. The second channel has tremolo with speed and intensity controls. There is only one tone control which gives you a bit more high or low end depending on how you turn it.

I've played a '79 strat and a '92 tele deluxe plus with lace sensors it the amp sounds very, very nice. Rich with just a slight overdrive, even turned all the way up. The tremolo is the best I've heard and that includes the one on my '68 Twin Reverb. This is a gem of an amp that can be used in a small club setting, or miked for a larger venue.

Well, someone had it for many years, my brother found it in the dump, I cleaned it up and rewired the speaker wire, and when I fired it up there were no hums, hisses, or pops. I guess if it's survived the road it's taken then I would deem it very reliable.

I don't think Airline exists anymore.

Well, considering the price and the wonderful sound and tone I think it's a great, great amp. I also have a tweed Blues Jr., and must say that this amp is better overall. The Blues Jr. does have a very nice reverb, but one can always add that to the Airline.
