This head was made in the 60's, a Montgomery Ward Airline. This is a two channel amp, one clean, one with very strong trem with speed and intensity control, and even stronger reverb. Each channel has 2 6l6 tubes ; clean has 3 12ax7s and reverb channel has a 6973 instead of the third 12ax7. Ten tubes total, with switchable hi-lo gain, two separate speaker outputs, and an auxiliary input for a radio. Amazing huge heavy amp head, a real find. This is reading like a rave , but...I love this thing. I am not qualified to assess the features since I am more accustomed to small 15-40 watt amps, but compared to my DeVille, this is very versatile.

Primarily use with a Fender Mustang, great blues machine, polarity switch eliminates most ac buzz. Breaks up nicely at about 7, but that's very loud and a little noisy as well, though on Lo gain it's tolerable in a small room . I play this through 2 12" Jensens or a 6x10 silvertone/jensen cab, never leaves the house. This player is not a pro

This is all original and the last owner used it regularly, so I'd say very reliable

This is the amp I've been looking for. Far superior to my '96 Fender Blues DeVille, my other high power amp. It plays like a small amp or a blaster, both, and everything in between. My rating is based on infatuation...I've had this for a few months and it keeps showing me more.
