Features : 9
my alamo was made in 1973 and is very good for 1970s rock it has two channels one normal one bass and one external speaker jack.
the features are minimal but it works for me.
i use this amp at small concerts it is a class c amp and it is part tube part transistor.

Sound Quality : 10
i use either a gibson les paul or a fender stratocaster with stock pickups. it suits my style well, which is rock like led zeppelin
it is in mint condition with almost no background noise. it doesnt have any effects but it reproduces sound great

Reliability : 9
it has never really broken down completley but i would use it on a gig

HELP ! I bought this amp several years ago. It has a Guitar (normal)channel and a bass. The tube chart says it can use either 6L6's or EL34's (apparently the tech who put it together scratched thru one). this one uses 6L6's. The trannys and pots are dated late '62 and early '63. I assume it was a "63 model. It looks perfect with its gray covering. It has a great sounding utah 15. However, I desparately need a schematic. Apparently someone in the last 37 yrs. has worked on it not having one either and it doesnt run exactly right. It does come on and you can play thru it, but it sounds really bad. If left on for more that 3 or 4 minutes one of the power tubes will turn red hot. Someone help me please. send email to blinlemcht@aol.com thanks
