this is my second review. the first the other review on this page.
the amp is great for alt.country, blues, pop, and rock n roll. With the right speakers and guitar, it could probably do heavy rock, fusion, jazz, and funk as well.
the eq is great.

it sounds great with a esquire with a broadkaster mic (48b), a gretsch with TV classic and a strat with kinman blues.
I've tried a lot of cabs: rivera 1x12 with eminence, behringer 4x12, marshall 4x12 w g12t-75s, marshall 8x8 pa cab, bogner 2x12 os with celestion blue and c1230-55, mojotone bluesbreaker ext 2x12 with celestion blues and weber silver bell, and mojotone tremolux clone 2x10 cab with weber 10a150 and california alnico.
To me, it sounds best with the "fender" cab with jensen and jbl clones. But it also sounds excellent with bogner and marshall/mojo cabs with blues, c1230-55 and silver bell.
Many say this amp is fenderish. however it's no clone. perhaps it sounds like a fat fender - perhaps more tweed than blackface. the upper mids sounds a bit voxish.
the amp has a good bit of bass - but not very much like a koch multitone. To me the bass sounds a bit flubby at high setting. For max bass, try weber c1230-55 in a bogner cab.
the headroom is sufficient unless you have a really loud drummer (and cabs that aren't very loud). but the amps starts to distort quite easily (volume at 10-11 o clock unless you turn down the guitar volume). the amp sounds very defined even when it is a bit distorted. with some guitars and cabs (marshall 4x12) a high mid setting can give a bit undefined tone however. because it is very dynamic, it is a joy to play!

It's a 2004 model. It can use 4, 8 or 16 ohm cabinets.
I can play most of the things I want with it even though it only has volume, bass, mid, treble, reverb and 50/100% power. Pluss Creamy switch.

In the beginning I was suprised, because it distorted more than, say, a blackface or silverface Fender. To get a clean sound that's fenderish (almost as a Blackface): Volume: ca. 10 o'clock; Bass: ca. 10 o'clock; Mid: ca. 9 o'clock; Treble: 1 or 2 o'clock; Creamy swith of. To get more distortion: add volume, mid and bass. This is the settings I've used with a Gretsch Malcolm Young Signature (w/TV Jones Classics) and a Marshall 1960A (with G12T-75s). It also works well with a Les Paul with PAFs and a Strat with Kinman AVnBlues. I only like the creamy swith with the Strat. You can do a lot with the EQ! It works on darker frequences than whats usual (e.g. mid means low middle) I've also used it with a 60's 8x8" Marshall cab - sounds great - but not loud. The amps not as loud or baasy as a Koch multitone 50. I think it sounds great for 50's, 60's and 70's stuff. You can easily get enough distortion to play AC/DC or Zep. If you want more, just add a Fulltone Distortion Pro or Fulldrive. The amps sits great in the mix - I've used it for studio and live recording.

I don't think you can get more for 1000$. I might wish it had a little bit more of the blackface sound, but it's great on it own terms.(I've been playing for 12 years and own a Marshall JCM800, Koch Multitone, Les Paul, 335, Gretsch, Strat, 3 Fulltone pedals, a Roger Mayer box and 2 Line6 boxes.)
