Avatar G112 Vintage, sep. 08, cab dimensions are 24"W x 20.5"H x 11"D. Weight is approximately 40 lbs.
It features a slanted front speaker baffle board to point the speaker up slightly.
The construction is 15mm voidless Birch Plywood with black tolex, white piping, black strap handle and wheat grille cloth.
It has a closed back config.
It has a rear metal jack plate with dual 1/4 inch jacks for daisy chaining with other cabs.
Switchcraft jacks and thick oxygen free internal speaker wire.
The 12 inch speaker is rear loaded with T Nuts.

i loaded it with a Celestion HERITAGE G12H. awesome combination.
gets a 10 rating because of the quality to price consideration.
not considering price, it's a solid 8.5

Sound Quality : 9
i use a '81 Mesa Boogie Mark2b 60 watt head to drive the cabinet. i have (2) other 1x12 cabs i can use in conjunction with this one....
i bought it specifically for recording.
great tolex, awesome grille cloth, and the cab, while light, feels thick and full of tone.
the strap/handle, feels a bit skinny and light-weight, and cheap...
but it's actually plenty for the cab weight, which is really pretty light.
it feels lighter, than it looks.

the baffle, tilts the speaker slightly upwards, so when i'm standing in front of it, i hear it much better than my standard flat-mount cabs.....
and, it projects the sound 'around' me, rather than lazer-beam 'at me', which is a strange thing, from a closed back cab.

it almost sounds like it's ported in the back, but it isn't.
i was going to add a 'beam blocker' to this cab, but after i've heard it now, i may just leave it off.

Reliability : No Opinion
it's a cab. only time will tell if the tolex stays on, if any rattles occur with moving it around, all of that....
but it seems solid as a tank, and i purchased it mostly for recording, so it will not be handled a lot.

Avatar is great to deal with.
very fast delivery, no glitches with payment, just as things should be with these guys.
dave at avatar, helped me with the decision on the speaker, he's built enough of these now to know pretty much what you need if you detail it to him.

Overall Rating : 10
i play rock, hard rock and fusion, using a '81 Mesa Boogie Mark2b head to push this cab. a great lightweight combination.

It's a speaker cabinet. Well made and sturdy. Surprisingly light. Blows away the original speaker and many others I've compared it to.

I love this thing! I have a little Fender 15w amp I use as a practice amp. It has an 8 ohm out so I plugged this puppy in. I know that I am going to take that rig out and and a few effects and use it for smaller gigs. Man! What a sound. I don't know what kind of magic is in there, but it is in there.

Reliability : No Opinion
Haven't had it long enough to comment.

While all communication was through email, delivery and that communication rates A+.

I bought this vintage cabinet strictly because I thought it was sexy. I had been lugging around my 70's twin with JBL D120's for years and @ 58 yrs., its a bit rough on the old back. I thought I would just get the cabinet and a lower wattage amp head; stick one of the JBLs in the cab and move on. If stolen, I would be all over buying this one again. I just wish I could play with all the configurations.
The only problem now is that I haven't solved my JBL problem. Back to the drawing board on that. I still have plenty of use for the great clean sounding JBLs, but this cab and the Hellatone 30 kicks major butt!!
I began playing in 1964..what's that? 44 years.
