2 vintage 30's, open back, (but more like a 3/4 back). Wheat grille cloth. It has a very classy look to it.

Man, I had to turn the bass on my amp ... DOWN! I am using it with a Mesa F-50 head, and was using it with a Marshall 1960a lead. This cab is a much better match! I use the Marshall with my Dual Rectifier, and am going to get rid of it and get another one of these! These cabs are incredible, worth twice the price. I hope Avatar doesn't figure that out before I get 1 or 2 more?

Reliability : 10
Hey, its a speaker cab - it looks well constructed, nice recessed handles, metal corners, Vintage 30's. 11-ply void-free birch.

I just got it. But they shipped it out FAST. I ordered in on a friday, and got it that Wednesday.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing on and off for about 13 years. I have three main amps, Dual Rectifier, Mesa F-50, and a rack based around Carvin Quad X. This cab is outstanding! Very big and open sounding, but not muddy. I will be buying more.

Pretty basic cab with one Celestion Vintage 30 and one Celestion G12H30 70th Year Anniversary Special in the 8 ohm mono, 60 watts with the partial open back cab. One input jack, this particular model has black tolex covering and a wheat grill, similar to a Bogner. Nothing fancy BUT if you needed more options you could spend a little more and get the G212 Custom, but I got all the features I need.

Very versatile since you're getting 2 different speakers that are well balanced for each other.

Sound Quality : 10
I've got an ernie ball Luke and a couple strats running through a Marshall 6100LM, Fender Concert head or Rocktron Chameleon with some rack gear, Chandler echo, Quadraverb, etc. I play quite abit of different styles, blues, rock, country, fusion, metal, etc and this amp sounds great with pretty much any style. The clean tones are glossy, the blues stuff sounds smooth and the high gain stuff has the right amount of mid range to cut through the mix. A friend of mine loves the Celestion 30H and I'm pretty partial to the Vintage 30's. This was the perfect combination.

Reliability : 10
Built like a tank. I can't for see any problems unless I throw it out the window and had a truck run over it. Very sturdy with quality parts.

Customer Support : 10
Probably the best customer support I've encountered. Dave is very accessible and has responded to all my inquiries quickly. Easy to work with and if you have a question or issues, I'm sure he'll come up with a solution.

Overall Rating : 10
I've only had it for about 2 weeks but have fallen in love with it. I've owned alot of gear, boogies, marshalls fenders, peaveys, etc and this ranks up with all of them if not better. Mesa and marshall cabs sound good but are over priced. If you're not worried about name brands or want to get a piece of gear on it's way to the top, check out www.avatarspeakers.com In fact, I just ordered a 4x12 cab and plan on getting another 2x12 and 2-1x12 cab from them.
