This cab. is one of the better sounding cabs I have ever heard. The metal grill is screwed on so tightly that it won't rattle on the lower or higher notes, the removeable casters are great for transporting it into somewhere and then setting down on the rubber feet.

Sound Quality : No Opinion
I am using a Peavey XXL head on it and I did try my frineds B-52 head on it but I think it sounds alot better with the XXL head. I am also using a Shector C-1 Artest Limited Edition guitar. I play hardcore/metalcore and this cab is great for handeling the low end as well as the higher end notes.

Reliability : No Opinion
Haven't taken it anywhere but my house so I have no clue.

Only bought the 4x12 slant cab; features? it has wheels, jacks and handles; i guess the metal grill gets a bonus

Sound Quality : 10
running an evh5150 head thru this thing; all i can say is "wow"; my other cab is a '69 marshall; turn the resonance back a few notches to compensate for the awesome bottom end, and back off the treble some and the punch and tone are really incredible. would have never guessed that an open-back cab would sound so tight.

Reliability : No Opinion
hadn't had it on the road (yet) so don't know

Customer Support : No Opinion
hadn't used it

Overall Rating : 10
this cab rocks; the low price is just a bonus. if you've got a top-end head, you should give this cab a test drive. celestians sound like, well, celestians. this cab has it's own sound, which is tight, punchy, and full of tone.

bought this cabnet aug 04. play rock ,blues country and jazz.cabnet is as well built if not better than a marshall . when i bought it money was not a object. i can afford what i want. and it damn shure wont 400.00 difference in the sound of a marshall 60a cab.

Sound Quality : 8
i use a paul reed smith 1989 studio and a les paul standard.the cabnet sounds great with my mesa mk1v . its a bottomy cabnet but mesa amps are not so it works out great.

Reliability : 10
this cabnet is built very well.kind of like paul reed and randall of mesa boogie years ago. small guys trying to make a name for there self so they try alot harder and you reap the benefit for a lot less than the big guys.

Customer Support : 10
havent had to call customer support and dout i will ,but ill be willing to bet you they will be more that pleasent just like randall smith and paul reed smith are. not shitty and trifling like gibson and fender. they got heads bigger then there ass

Overall Rating : 10
i have been a guitar player sence 1968 when my dad gave me a harmony rocket . i own 9 guitars and 2 pedal steels and 8 amps . most are gison, fender mesa etc. i played every kind of stack cab in guitar center and sam ash and i believe b-52 is here to stay. when they get a stealth tube 60watt head in i will most likey buy one of them also. i think b-52 is going to be like glock of the 80's and prs of the 80's . better grabb one before they go up. they are a buy

Right now I am using a Crate head with this awesome cheap cab. I thought B-52 was another cheap brand that had a cool looking thing but no real quality well I was wrong. The Crate speakers get the Grrrr! at about four on the dial on the master. But this B-52 can go the whole way without even having sparratic speaker movement. Crates are cheap amps and I can't wait to try out the Stealth Series all tube amp through this cab. My feeling is my amp just maxes cause it's solid state. Also I know this cab doesnt max like other solid state cabs cause these speakers are built to the same standards as the Celestion Vintage 30's.These speakers feature more bottom end higher wattage and a bigger voice coil.

Sound Quality : 10
I mostly play hard rock, punkcore, and metal. bands like Pantera,Black Flag and NOFX. This cab lets the true sound of my guitar shine through without any impurities. I like the bottom end mixture with a nice bass/mid mix and treble mix to just give a nice rich sound. I've also played about 5 or 6 shows with this cab already and I am surprised by how good it sounds. To my buddies Marshall/mesa rig I really shine through and have just as much tone or even more.I never thought a Crate amp head would ever even have such sound potential. Pretty much any venue style out door, indoor, high rise stage or low rise it really put's out just as good as the Marshall. Marshall is just a name and B-52 is all over it!

Reliability : 8
I can depend on this thing. It's like a tank without guns. I'd say the vinal covering on the outside needs to be more tuff. It has kinda gotten ruffed and torn in a few places.

Customer Support : 10
Great!

Overall Rating : 10
I'd say that if you know the quality of this cab is awesome and you buy a Marshall cause it's name your ripping yourself off. I mean who cares if it's a Marshall if it sounds better and it's cheaper then whats the big deal. The name doesn't matter. Plus you could buy a new guitar with the money you save and still enjoy great tone!People think oh B-52 it sucks. Then I turn it on and deafen them and they shutup. Back in the day Marshalls were the B-52 of that time. Orange amps were the best amps of that time and people would buy those over Marshall. If you gave Marshall a chance give B-52 a chance. I mean if you take the Marshall tag off the Marshall you got a B-52!

4 speakers and an enclosure w/a metal grill. WTF it's not rocket science.

Sound Quality : 9
If you want some heavy f***ing bass response, this sucker is up your alley.

I play whatever I want(if it sounds good I will learn myself the song and play it). Basically, metal, pop, thrash whatever.

It has a super deep sound though, so if you don't want a bass response sound, don't buy it.

Reliability : 10
Had it 1 day, but the warranty is long. Hopefully I won't have to use it.

If you want an affordable cab, something you can pay cash up front for or pay off in a month, this is a steal.

Talking to various people I found that unless you want to shell out 800 bucks for a more top of the line cab, you may as well go 300 on this puppy and save yourself 200 bucks, unless you just have to have the Marshall name.

It's your money sucker. Spend it how you like, but for 300 bucks you can't go wrong.

B-52 Pro Audio B52 LG412V 412 Cabinet. Ok you person below me you suck. this cab probly sounded like crap cause your highpriced mesa named amp needs new tubes. This cab is awesome and has just as much and even more bass than a Marshall 1960A cab with a Mesa Head. How do I know this cause my friend has ur exact setup but his amp has way better tubes!! My amp is just as good as his. Mesa is a sham cause your paying for a name. But a good amp!! MEsa is awesome!!

Sound Quality : 10
Im using a Dimarzio Fast Track 2 pick up wired in sequence with 2 fender strat stock pickups. Im a punkrocker so I want the low end with a good mix with high and mid. My guitar is noiseless since I use this dimarzio single coil sized humbucker. And I use a Boss noise suppressor. This cab with my 120 watt Crate head sounds excellent. The cab shows that Crate amps kick butt and that the Crate 120 watt cabs suck. It has perfect tone for any type of hardcore music. Punk and metal. The clean sound is excellent too. The B-52 speakers don't break up and they have the same range as the Celestion Vintage 30's and the GT75 12 inch speakers. The distortion is so brutal. With my Crate speakers it only enabled my amp to crank up to partial show volume. But with the B52 LG412 cab I get peircing full range sound. Exactly the same as the MEsa and Marshall sound and even better.

Reliability : 10
I can depend on it it's like a tank.

nope The Vice President of B-52 company is sending me a free hat and tshirt so no prob with customer support.

Ive played for about 4 years. If it were lost or stolen I would catch the person cause I'm big and the only person that can pick it up!!

412 cab...hmmmm, i bought it because it was cheap. everything else about it is a sham!!!!! from the "custom speakers" (it just means that
it is an aftermarket speaker made of really cheap components)and a tough 16 guage steel cover....what the hell? This sounds like a Dinty
moore stew ad!!!

Sound Quality : 2
imagine if you will....If amps sounded like rappers the b52v12 would definetely be Vanilla ice!!!

Reliability : 2
I dont know if it would stand all the abuse....oh wait ,most of the
"tards who gave this cab 10's all the way through probably tour the "big stadiums" with their roadies handling there gear (please smell the stench of sarcasm)................These are the same "guitar playe....i mean wankers who play ....wait for it.......
ESP guitars ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Customer Support : 10
I've never called them , but I probably expect the person on the phone
to answer this way...
Hello, thank you for calling. Please choose from the following menu,
for b52 pro audio press 1 now
for Marias taco and horchata stand press 2 now
for luigis shoe repair press 3 now
if you are a guitar player who happens to play either a ESP,JACKSON or
DEAN press 4 so you may be warped back into 1983 now

Yes I have poked fun and did give this cab a poor revue . NonethelesI own one.....But I dont own an ESP ha ha ha.Why did I buy one , you ask? cause I really neede a cab and I had limited funds.......jumpin
jehovas!!! I could save and buy some celestion vintage 30's for this piece of dung......But that would probably be like buying Ferrari tires for a Pinto......I would still do it though!!! I did give it a 7 because my amp head (which I choose not to mention its name (four syllable name)rocks!!!
Oh yeah......ESP ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Covered by every one else. Bought this as a combo deal and my review on the head is separate. I am an engineering gear head and play mostly for my own enjoyment. My wife bought it for me -- eat your heart out guys and I live in a house where I can crank it to my hearts delight. She just shuts the doors God love her and turns up the tv. :-)

Sound Quality : 8
I like the sound. Period. I am not a professional musician but I do have two good ears and I am pleased. I happen to like bass heavy music and this cab delivers. Although every speaker has some coloration I listened to them all and I really doubt if many people could tell the difference in a true blind A/B test. I play blues, rock and pop and occasionally have retro flashbacks to the folk songs of the 60's. Try playing a Takamine nylon a/e through a rock head and a 412 cab --- Michael gets to the other side -- fast ;-0

I have a Yamaha G-212 that is shall we say vintage and I like its sound and would compare the two favorably. What I like best is both can be real loud and deep -- but not boomey.

Reliability : 9
I doubt if you could break this unit with a bunch of monkeys with sledgehammers.

See my comments on the head. Great tech support.

Bought it as part of the combo with the head at Guitar Center so the price includes the LG-100 head. No I am not an employee either. I just have fun making noise and sometimes even music. :-)

hmm.. its a cab man

Sound Quality : 4
dont get me wrong.. this amp sounds pretty good for the price but compared to my marshall 1960b cab.. it sounds like a toy.. just like the cabs built for the crate gfx series. i play a mesa dual rectifier.. played through this it sounded a little thin. compared to the marshall cab it sounded like the marshall was blasting the real tone. but then again the price difference is a couple hundred so its understandable. the logo looks pretty cheap though.. at first it reminded me of something youd see at a 99 cents store.

Reliability : 6
metal grill.. and handles.. not bad.. but im sure if it were taken on tour that it would fall apart in i say a year.

Customer Support : No Opinion
never dealt with them

Overall Rating : 4
its for people who are starting out.. but then again who needs a half stack when they start out? if your thinking about buying a half stack just to look cool.. dont spend your money on a cheap one. buy a good sounding combo.. youll save money and itll be just as loud. my advice is if you buy a halfstack, save your money and buy the real deal, ie: Mesa, Marshall, Vox, Orange, Bogner, etc. youll save money and not end up buying multiple cheap amps and eventually getting to the top of the line products.
