The main features have been covered before so I won't waste too much time here.

This amp has some pretty cool tonal possibilities. The extra 2+1 configuration lends to great versatility in sound as well.

Sound Quality : 9
I can tell you, only having had this amp for a few weeks I am very happy with my purchase. It has a great amount of gain right from the head. Being able to set up a differnt gain level for rythem and Lead is tha *******. It can get a bit noisy on the dirty side if you're using external distortion as well. I have to run the gain low on my TS9 to keep things in check, but it does add a bit of sparkle to the lead channel even at that low level.

My main guitar, an ibanez sv470, is running passive pickups. I'm sure with some EMGs a more metal tone could be had.

The clean channel is okay. Nothing to write home about. But sounds good with some chorus in front.

Reliability : 7
I've only had this amp for a couple of weeks so it may be too soon to tell. It was purchased second hand on eBay, so it lived through the previous owner, and cross country shipping. It literally went from upper NY to Utah.

I can attest the build quality doesn't seem as sturdy as other amps. But my last amp was an X-100B which is built like a tank.

Don't know, and hope I never do. I tend to baby my stuff, so I would imagine I'll be okay (fingers crossed)

Overall Rating : 8
Like I said before, I'm very happy with my purchase. The amp has enough gain where I don't have to run anythinng in front of it, if I don't want to. Unlike my previous amp my TS is more of a tone shaper than a gain creator. My Crybaby sounds stellar through it as well.

I'm driving two Carvin 2x12 cabs, and it seems plenty loud enough to me to do clubs or smaller venues. The thing I like most about it is it isn't a Boogie retread or a knock off Marshal. I think it really does have a tone its own. But could be described as an amalgam of both those amps.

Remember 70-80 % of the tone comes from your fingers, so don't expect this to be a miracle worker if you have sloppy technique. But if you're looking for some tonal range and gain on a budget, this amp is for you.

I'll try to get a review up on youtube soon, so you can give it a listen.

Worthless. DO Not Buy This Product. The amp did not work from second 1 from out of the box. was sent back to dealer for replacement.

This amp head was sent back to the manufacture about a week after the dealer sent the replacment head because the reverb stoped working. then 2 weeks after they shipped the repaired product back, the amp would just start having crackling and popping noise. Soa back to the manufactor it went .
It was a full month later before they sent the amp back . We plugged it back into the cab, 2 min. later, crackle and popping. we then took this gem to my house and plugged the head into my marshall 1960a cab. . within 2 min. , crackle and popping .
This amp has been played about 10 hours ,or so, sense it was purchase
four months ago. it has been in shipping longer than it has been at my friends studio. THe dealer will not give him his money back due to the fact that he sent the amp to get REPAIRED FROM THE MAUFACTOR.

Overall Rating : 1
I though about buying this amp because of its features,I'm now Sorry for my Friend who is having to deal with ALL THIS CRAP !

60 watt all tube head with rectifier tube as well as solid state rectifier. Has Bias pot. Three position switch to change rectifier type from class A, A/B and solid state. Two channels, clean and distortion. Distortion channel has two seperate gain knobs so you can set the two differently and switch between them. One of the distortion gain knobs has a midrange contour knob allowing for varying it's character. Footswitch allows for accessing the different channels and to switch between the two gain knobs as well as turing on or off the reverb. There is a effects loop and line out. Speaker output is 4, 8 or 16ohm.

Sound Quality : 9
This amp is supprisingly great sounding. I prefer it over my Mesa Boogie F-50 as the ST-60A has better overall tone and dynamics. I do not feel that it gets that Marshall sound and someone prefering Marshall may be disappointed if they try to get that from this amp (my opinion). The clean is very Fender like and small adjustments to tone controls allows for getting a wide varity of sounds, similar to how Mesa Boogie tone controls work on the Mesa Boogie F-50. I never have problems with ice-picky highs on this amp and have tried it with a wide variety of speakers (highs are easily tamed with the tone control). The distortion channel is great, it's quite smooth not brutal, it reminds me of the distortion that a Mesa Boogie F-50 gets but not as grainy and a bit more focused (however the contour knob set in the wrong position for a particulare speaker or playing style can yield some bad results, the mid tone knob seems to be the key to saving the day), it does NOT have that grainy Peavey type distortion that seems to plague the TripleX, Windsor and Valveking.
The rectifier knob is great and can be used to get a softer spongier tone (A setting), something a bit tighter with a light attack (A/B setting)and a sharp attack with tight dynamics (Solid state setting).
Works great for a wide variety of music styles, it likes distortion pedals and complements and works with a wide variety of speakers (currently using a Jensen C12K - speaker with late break up characteristics and smooth high end). For someone who likes extreme Metal they may need to use a distortion stomp box on the distortion channel to push the amp into Heavey Metal land or get a speaker with early break up characteristics.

Too new to tell, built really solid.

I have called with tech and feature questions and have got to a person knowledable enough to help me quite easily but have never used them for a service request or repair.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
Great over all, it can really get the feel of several different amps, It can be mellow or ballsy do to the rectifier switch. Rich in the tone department and very effetive with the distortion options (contour knob and two independent gain knobs).

Well this is a very basic 60 watt tube head. 1 clean channel and 1 overdrive channel wich goes into a second overdrive chanel with contour. Effects loop, headphone jack, and footswitch. This is 60 watts of super loud power. I bought this as a back up to my 100 watt marshall and now this is my main amp. I crank this amp all the time and that's when it sounds the best. It does get a little hot but from what I hear it is going to cuz it's a tube amp.

Sound Quality : 9
This head is really marshall sounding to me. The clean channel is awesome with some good effects pedals. The overdrive channel is killer with a tube screamer and EQ on it. The distortion is good but not brutal unless it's cranked. This head is not noisy is also not that noisy. But since I play with a lot of distortion I have a noise gate pedal in there.

Reliability : 9
Built like a truck! Had this head for 6 months and the tubes sound good as new. Have not gigged with it yet. But if I did I would have a back up. Never good to play a show with out a back up.

Customer Support : 9
Never had to deal with them!!! Wich is good!

Overall Rating : 10
BEST TUBE AMP HEAD FOR THE PRICE ON THE MARKET!!! If it were lost or stolen I might get the 100 version or another 60 watt version.
