cool looking low wattage handwired vintage solidstate 1x12 combo.
70's I guess.
Great construction,Big spragues capacitor,only great quality components.
Alnico 1x12 speaker.I gues I will try it with a greenback in the future.
mine is all original and in mint condition.
This is a vey colorful amplifier.
This amp weights a lot, heavy as a tube amp!

I love this amp.
incredible warm overdrive when pushed.
I also love the clean sound.
you can get almost every tone you have in mind with the supersound channel.
you can mix all channels togheter with a switch on top of the amp.
The trem is really cool and psychedelic,and the reverb sounds great at every settings.
I had to put some more foam in the reverb tank cause the old one was all dried up,and causing unwanted feedback oscillations.(wich in fact was pretty cool for a song or two!)

since its vintage,you may have to clean pots cause they can get scratchy.The reverb tank is so close to the 1x12 speaker that over the years it becomes magnatised!You may have to check it and seal it properly with foam,to prevents oscillations.
I also suggest to change the power cord for a 3 prong cord,just for safety reasons.
besides that,yes its built like a tank.

this amp is almost 40 years old,I guess the customer support team must be six feet under!

coolest amp ever for recording and clubing

baldwin professional deluxe amp made in 1970.1x12 combo,2 channels,reverb,temolo,the best solid state amp ever,I would say around 20 loud watt. I've owned recent and vintage ac30's and ac15's,orange or120,jazz chorus120,marshall 18 watts,fender bassman,deluxe,dual showman and twins...and the BALDWIN DELUXE is as really cool sounding little amp for the studio and club situations. I love this amp,it's a keeper.

I use mostly my vintage telecaster,rickenbacker 360 through this amp and it's awesome !!!
This amp has a really impresive vintage sound.This amp sings in superb distortion at the volume around 4.You get a neil young or radiohead sound instantaly.You can also have a great tough clean sound.The best features about this amp is the supersound section,wich consist of 5 colored buttons,generating different tones,"a la orange". This amp is a vintage tone machine.Your record engineer will be pleased!
The reverb is really cavernous,unique sounding and sensitive,not as great as accutronic,but different,more space echo sounding,perfect for those portishead guitar riff.The tremolo is the best I've heard,beats fender trem!!It can go really slow,slower than vox.
Im gonna couple this amp with my ac15 on the next shows and it's gonna be the most pleasant rig ever!
