I read a review that these cabinets could handle loud, heavy, low-end sound better than any other cabinet. I play a 7 string guitar in a death metal band, so I need a cabinet that won't rumble when things get chunky. This cabinet is EXACTLY what I was looking for. My previous cabinet would shake and diarrhea all over my sound when I palm muted lower chords. I'm shocked at how much of a difference a decent cabinet makes.
If a cabinet can handle the most brutal, loud, aggressive tones, it can handle anything.

When I first played through this cabinet I realized how much my previous cabinet was adding to the distortion in my tone. I had cut back the gain on my pedals with my old cab because the shaking was contributing to the dirty sound. With Basson's cabinet, there is no shaking or rumbling. It's the most clean and crisp sound I've ever heard from speakers.

Talked to Shawn Green. Very helpful and informative. He explained the history behind Victor Basson's decision to build his own cabs. I recommend anyone who calls to inquire about this, it's pretty interesting.

I've really only played through 2 cabinets: my old one and this brilliant addition to my rig. It may be hard to take a perfect review seriously, but I truly believe this cabinet is perfect. After hearing Mr. Basson's story, I think most people would agree. I've had this cabinet for about a month now - played several shows and EVERYONE has complimented the VAST improvement in my tone.
I would never have thought a cabinet could make such a dramatic difference. I strongly recommend anyone, expecially metal musicians, to invest in one of these cabinets. It might be the best thing you can do for your tone.

I think this cab was made in 2005, it's 300 watts, 8ohms, 101db, 4x12 black speaker cabinet. I use it live with my band (www.33D3GR33.com) and it sounds incredible. I have a Mesa Dual Rectifer and I have tried it with Marshalls and Peaveys and this cab blew them both away. Really smooth and very loud, I think my band hates me now =)

I play an Ibanez with an Air Norton pick up...We go from very heavy to light melodic stuff and it sounds great on both. A lot of Low end so if you don't want that you'll have to crank your bass setting down. I on the other hand have mine at at least 8!!

I have talked with the factory and some of the reps and they seem like they really have it all together. Never had a repair so not sure about that.

I've been playing about 12 years and I think my sounds is set. A Dual rectifier, a Basson cab, and few Boss pedals, and an Ibanez RG and I'm happy. I know it sounds like pure heavy metal but we do a lot of melody too and it works great for that as well.
